2025 “Show Up” Tournament a Huge Success
The numbers reflect the spectacular success of the 2025 Taylor Whitley “Show Up” Golf Tournament, which took place November 19 at Wildcat Golf Club in Houston. The event hosted 252 golfers, had the support of 54 corporate and individual sponsors, and raised a record-breaking $1.1 million for character-based scholarships.
The Foundation was established to empower generational change by providing financial resources to help deserving students attend trade schools, community colleges, and universities. In only six years, the Foundation has far exceeded expectations, providing a total of 54 scholarships in the most recent academic year alone. The “Show Up” Tournament is the Foundation’s primary fundraiser. It creates a unique environment where donors and recipients celebrate together as new scholarships are awarded. The event and its impact have grown steadily since its inception.
“This is a landmark year,” said Cristin Johnson, Vice President of the Taylor Whitley USA DeBusk Scholarship Foundation. “We have awarded our highest-ever number of scholarships, celebrated our first graduating class of scholars, and surpassed the $1 million mark in donations to make a positive difference in the lives of students and their families. We are so grateful to the management of USA DeBusk, our incredibly generous donors, and the many selfless volunteers who make this event so successful.”
